I design products, processes and team growth alike.
Three things sit on my desk and they aren't really separable: the product, the process that makes it, and the people doing the work. A weak process wastes good designers. A team that isn't growing stops making good work, whatever the process says. So I try to look after all three at once, and to measure it by what shipped and held up rather than by how the plan looked.
The work itself is dense operational software - screens people sit inside all day, where every moved button gets noticed. Over the past few years, that meant leading a platform migration onto our new design standards. More recently, I’ve expanded into the AI layer. That includes leveraging new tools and disciplines, but just as importantly, understanding how our users truly feel about the AI features we ship so we can deliver clear, practical value with minimal friction.
I came to this the long way round. My first career was branding, packaging and typography.
Since then: cybersecurity, banking and insurance systems, people analytics, industrial IoT, and now hospitality operations. I took an M.Des in design and innovation management along the way. I'm a constant learner: I wanted to ground my methodology in something firmer than experience alone, and to keep it aligned with international standards that don't stand still.
